Summary: In this class, Jaywant Sir will be explaining Recording Macros.

Process: Recording Macros: There are 2 types of recording macros Formatting macros and Formula macros.

List of things to remember before recording the macros. 1. Font Size, 2. Font Color, 3. Cell Color, 4. Alignment, and 5. Font Style.

Formatting Macros: To record select the target data, click on the view tab, click on macros, and click on record macros. In the record Macros box fill in the following:- Macro name, Shortcut key, Store Macro in, and Description.

Now you can start with the necessary steps, click on the home tab, go to font, click on font style (choose a font style as per required), font size (choose a font size as per required), click on Bold, click on borders (choose a border as per required), click on cell color (choose a cell color as

per required), click on font color (choose a font color as per required), go to alignment, click on alignment (choose an alignment as per required), once you are done choosing everything, click on the view tab, go to macros, click on macros, and click on stop recording.

To check the macros, select the target data, press the shortcut key (one which was made as per required) and the macros will run.

Another way to run macros is to, click on the view tab, go to macros, click on macros, click on view macros, in the Macro box, click the name of your macro, click on run and the macros will run.

Formula Macro: First select the cell you want to put the formula in, then select the target data, click on the view tab, click on macros, and click on record macros. In the record Macros box fill in the boxes as per the required following:- Macro name, Shortcut key, Store Macro in, and Description.

Now in the selected cell, type in your formula (as per required), To stop the recording, click on the view tab, go to macros, click on macros, and click on stop recording.

To apply the macros, click on the target cell, then click on the view tab, go to macros, click on macros, click on view macros, in the Macro box, click the name of your macro, click on run and the macros will run.
